Passionate. Authentic. Humorous. These are the words that describe Pastor Brent Welch who has served as Lead Pastor of GracePointe Church in Thomasville, Georgia since June of 2004.
A 1986 graduate of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, Brent grew up in Mobile, Alabama. He was familiar with church ministry from a young age as his parents were pastors for years and then missionaries to South Africa for over 26 years.
Brent has been married to the love of his life, Gigi, for 25 years. They have three grown children, Andrew (31), Isaac (24) and Shayna (20). He has authored one book called Working the Bugs Out (linked below) and has many others he hopes to write in the future!

Gigi Welch
Executive Director, Glad Tidings Academy
Gifted with making anyone feel important and loved, Gigi works alongside her husband, Brent, to minister to people in any and all roles that need to be filled. In addition to full time church ministry, Gigi is the Executive Director of Glad Tidings Academy. The academy provides a huge service to the local community by offering full time daycare, preschool and after-school care to over 100 children every weekday in a loving and Christ-centered environment.
When she’s not working at the church or daycare, you can find Gigi enjoying time with her kids and grandkids. The beach is her favorite place to enjoy God’s creation and time with the people she loves!
